After studying Fine Art & Fashion Design at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), I went on to design children's and women's wear in Chicago. in 1994 I joined Fitigues, a clothing lifestyle brand. When they  re-located to Arizona in 2001, so did I.

Currently with Joy Li Studio, an upscale boutique in Scottsdale, I am learning the retail side of the industry.  With almost thirty years experience in fashion, I  have always been making jewelry & accessories for myself, friends, and family.     In 2010, modernmuse61 was born...

My greatest inspiration are both my daughters; Through them I learned to always see the world with the eyes of a child. With that perspective I see beauty and wonderment in even the most humble of things. My passion is to collaborate with creative and like-minded people, to create something from nothing and to seek inspiration whether it be fashion, art, or design.
